MY FEET, MOVING IN ALL DIRECTIONS NOW STAND FIRMILY ON THE STARTING LINE WHICH READS: "YOU ARE HERE: GRAPHIC DESIGNER"

 

Stepping back a few years , precisely spring of 2013, I could proudly say that I had finally accomplished my educational goal by obtaining my BFA in Graphic Design from Towson University. Instead of being ecstatic, however, I was burnt out and honestly tired of anything that had to do with design! I became stressed and confused as to exactly how to proceed with my career and my life.

A few months of working at my then current  job of bartending and the realization that the main focus of my life so far had been earning my degree, which had been obtained, filled my head with thoughts of freedom and uncertainty. Freedom being the change I desperately wanted from the current status in my life. I had come to a crossroad in my life and a road trip felt like the perfect solution to clear my mind.

 

Shortly after that, a friend and I packed up the car and headed west. Three months later… with a clear and refreshed mind, I realized that it was indeed, Design that I wanted to pursue as my career and I was now ready to give it my full  attention.

 

So here I am… returning to the drawing board with a plethora of new and fresh ideas, and anxious to make them come alive.
